“The South is nothing” and how is it possible to tell a story about nothing? In his attempt to grow up and become a man, Pietro, a 15 years old boy who lives in the extreme South of Italy, begins to understand the reality in which he is growing up...

Fabio Mollo was born in Reggio Calabria in 1980. In 2002 he graduated with a BA Honour Bachelor of Arts in “Visual Theory: Film History” at University of East London. In 2007 he graduated at the Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia in Rome (National Film School) in the directing course.
Giganti won the Best Short Movie Award at Torino Film Festival 2007.
